Occupy LSX and Occupy Wall Street have going on for a good while now, the protesting against Capitalism.
I don't mind protests, I agree with having protests, and I agree we should be allowed to protest if we want to voice our opinions in that manner.
Obviously the riots in London earlier this year, I did not agree with.
One man I had an argument with said, he understood what they were protesting for. Well if looting is protesting I must be on the wrong planet.
I also asked him, if I was one of the looters, and burnt down his house, because my mates were doing it, he replied, "I would try and understand why you had done it?"
I'm pretty sure I just gave the reason why, 'because my mates were doing it'.
I also find protesting hypocrytical. There was a small protest against boarder controls getting more strict. I asked, "So do you want any Tom Dick and Harry to be let in", to which he replied "Yes."
If that is the case, don't moan we have no money, mortgages are going up, and insurances go up. The risk goes up if anyone is allowed in the country.
Look at Australia, quite rightly strict and letting people live there, and guess what? They don't have a debt crisis, they don't over 100,000 illegal immigrants missing, they don't have mortgage rates that make you want to cry.
Being strict isn't being nasty, being strict with money is actually a pretty smart thing to do.
Another thing is if you are going to protest, do so peacefully. Don't smash windows which costs insurance, and guess what happens when you vandalise quite an expensive building, rates will go up, every time there's a protest, people will want things insured, and insurance companies will make things more expensive to insure, so please don't break anything, I can't afford to pay off your little temper tantrum.
The teachers going on protests I think is a complete scam. They get the best amount of holidays, the get good pay, they have unions backing them up, and from what I can gather is that the left, who are meant to be for the working class, are allowing these people to go on strict and leave single parent families to fend for themselves.
What if that parent can't afford the day off but has to take it because the teachers don't like the fact that their pensions aren't as expensive on the rest of the world?
What happens to that parent, that if they take the day off, they get no pay for, no help or backing from these protestors who are claiming that they are doing this "for the people".
That parent could lose their job, which means they lose their income, which means it's difficult to buy food in this ever growing VAT, and petrol, and bills.
But of course the left, once again, are being selfish and don't agree, and don't want to listen. They want to be heard, but they never listen.
I have to say I'm not taring all the left wingers with the same brush. There are a few who I admire, respect, and have a lot of time for, but the majority who shout, are rude, and generally don't listen, just back up my views of protests being hypocrytical. I would love them to prove me wrong, but I know they won't.

The Centre
There is something I've noticed in politics, started in 1997 when Tony Blair became our new Prime Minister, and New Labour was all anyone could talk about.
The main parties from the left and right were moving ever so closer to the middle. Whether you a Labour supporter or a Tory, you can't deny the mssive leap both parties have taken. Although the Tories only really caught on in 2005 when David Cameron won the leadership.
For Labour since Tony Blair's demise they haven't had much luck with the two leaders who have preceeded him. Gordon Brown, enough said already, then Ed Miliband, a back stabbing, weak, no-one cares about leader of the opposition.
But then there's David Cameron, our Prime Minister, who seems to be trying to resemble Tony Blair in nearly everything he does!
Even when it comes to their policies, there isn't much difference anymore. The only difference seems to be the order they would do it in!
Labour would have raised the VAT just at a later date, Labour would have helped out Libya but probably more in a hands on way if the Afghan war is anything to go by, and Labour would have done a lot of things the same, just at a later date. The only difference I can see in policies, the NHS bill. Maybe Labour would have gone around it differently, but who knows if it would have worked, their track record is hardly anything to go by!
At the moment I'm not happy with the Tories, neither Labour, and the Liberal Democrats......... where are they?
Words of advice to the Tories, stop U-Turning, stop using famous quotes, and stop dropping governtment documents in public bins, (Mr Letwin). One other thing, Mr Cameron, don't employ anyone who has worked for Mr Murdoch, its like you're trying to ruin your own career
And to Labour, Mr Miliband get a back bone, get some policies, don't put yourself in the same boat as Martin Luther King or the Suffragettes ,and get some personality, it's like watching paint dry with you as opposition, and try to ask some real questions that are bothering the nation, it would be nice if it looked like you were taking it seriously!

Aftermath
It's now been just over one week after the riots in London and Manchester, where people lost their jobs, their homes, and some five people tragically lost their lives.
Having said this, there are quite a number of people who are condoning these riots. They claim they are for 'the people'.
What about the people who died, and the families who have lost everything from their homes, and jobs, who have absolutely nothing left.
To me, the people condoning these riots need a good look at what happened. I honestly believe they are only taking the sides of the rioters because they hate any type of discipline.
The people who created the events on Facebook have been given sentences of four years. Personally I think this is a light sentence, if they never created these stupid events, people would still have homes, lives and jobs.
Nick Clegg has also surprised me, he said something I agree with, I know shock horror! He said for the people who don't get a jail sentence should do community service, and clear the mess they created. Completely agree with him, they should suffer the humility and discover where theres actions made, so are consequences.
The minority who where looting, burning and killing, need to understand they aren't the only ones suffering. Majority of Britain are struggling, and they have just made it worse, not only to themselves, but to the rest of us. What did they achieve from these riots, other than 40' TV's, IPods, phones and who else knows what else? Nothing, they got nothing out of it.
I hope people get the help they deserve, I also believe you have to help yourself before others will want to. If you don't make the effort, why should anyone else?

Rioting
Well, if I didn't know what was happening and had just turned on the news, I would have thought they were talking about Syria or Lybia.
The rioting in Tottenham is awful, and down right disgusting behaviour. This is Britain, a proud small country, despite this size, have power, I would say money but Labour took care of that.
I am a proud Briton, I am proud to say this is my home country, the place where I was taught wrong from right. The rioting in Tottenham was for Mark Duggan, a young man who had shot police officer, who then shot back, and sadly he was killed.
His family, who I have a lot of respect for, are obviously beside themselves, angry, and probably slightly lost. But to cause these riots in his name is absolutely revoulting. His family need support, not chaos. They need peace, time to get used to whats happened to them, and how they are going to cope.
The people involved are a disgrace to this nation, the people of this country (sounding like Blair now) and their families.
This is where our justice system needs to get tougher. When there is no consequence and no morals, why wouldn't they cause anarchy? We need someone or something that terrifies the young in to doing right, not wrong. I don't mean the death penalty, I can see reasons for and against, but there does need to be something within the jails or juvenile detention centres otherwise this will never end. Also the debt to clean all this up, well that will be coming out of our wage package, so thank you again rioters, for wasting mine and all working people out there's money, very considerate of you!

Justice
From the shocking and disturbing events that happened in Norway, adn what Joshua Davies did, the young boy who murdered his ex-girlfriend for a dare to win a breakfast.
Now, I understand that even if we had harder sentencing people would still rape, and murder, and commit crimes. It seems some people don't understand right from wrong.
Europe has one of the lightest criminal justice system. The maniac Anders Behring Breivik will only get 21 years maximum, Joshua Davies is serving a life sentence, of probably only 30 years, and will most likely be let out on good behaviour after 10 or 15. To me that is not a life sentence.
I do believe Anders Breivik should get 21 years, for each murder he commited, that is 76 people which would equal 1596 years, even if he did get some years taken off for good behaviour, he would never get out. Good! He obviously is good for society, mentally he is obviously not on the same wave length as the rest of us. He pleaded not guilty to the murders or any of his crimes, believing he had a right to act out his actions, because he doesn't like Muslims.
Joshua Davies, smiling as he entered the court, believing he would lie his way out of murdering a fifteen year old, and be able to frame his friend for the girls murder. He honestly believed he could get away with murder. He also did it to get a free breakfast. Something isn't right within our system if children think getting a free breakfast is worth killing someone over.
If the justice system was harder, and jail life wasn't as cosy, I do believe a lot of young people wouldn't find killing such a fun thing to do. Stabbings in London wouldn't be as often, maybe setting up gangs wouldn't be such a great idea.
I remember at school, we didn't care if we got caught skipping lessons, or even school as there was no consquence. I never did homework, and hardly ever got told off for it, and to be honest I didn't care. A friend of mine got caught with possession of drugs, two weeks left of school so they suspended her for two weeks, all she got was an extra two week holiday, and the rest of us were jealous!
This is why we should remove Sky TV from prisons, remove nice pool tables, and remove these lovely living conditions. Where is the punishment? They get three whole meals a day, at our expense, Sky TV at our expense, pools tables that get fixed if broken, at our expense, nice new matresses, at our expense.
Now, I'm not saying they shouldn't get food, but they should earn the moeny for the food instead of us buying it for them! In America, the prisoners have to go out chained up and do community service......Good!
All these liberals who disagree that rapists and murders should get punished and deserve a second chance, why? The person they have murdered, or raped doesn't get a second chance. The family has to suffer a consequence of their actions, why shouldn't they also suffer?
For instance, James Bulger, the little two year old boy who got brutally murdered by two ten year olds, Jon Venable and Robert Thompson. Both who practically, in my eyes, got away with what they commited. I realise they were only ten, I realise they got taken away from their families. But did they learn from their ordeal, it seems not because Venables is now in prison serving time for child pornography. Not only that, suring the Fifa World Cup last year, he asked for a better telly because his eyes were straining to see the small telly he had already got. I bet half the prison guards couldn't afford the telly he was given.
Our crime system is too soft. Do-gooders are saying the deserve second chances, they should be allowed back into society, back to live a nice normal life. But if that rapist or murder or paedophile was placed where thye lived, I bet they would have something to say about that!
When you're little you know not to put your hand in the fire, because you will get burnt, in other words, there is a consequence! And if you were the child who did put your hand in the fire, I bet you never did it again!

Select Commitee
Yesterday wasn't particularly interesting when it comes to finding out more about the hacking scandal. Neither the Murdoch's, Brooks, or the Met really enlightened more detail about what happened.
The only thing interesting that happened was so mooron decided to pie Rupert Murdoch in the face. Which has now taken headlines, instead of the Euro falling (thankfully Britain didn't join, as Labour wanted us too!), one of the worst famines in Africa, Somelia has ever seen!
David Cameron needs to admit he shouldn't have appointed Coulson, Labour need to own up and say they were so up Murdoch's arse that they knew all these hackings were happening but didn't want to get on the wrong side of him, and the press need to realise which stories are worth the ink and paper they are on! And it's certainly not worth writing about a foam pie!

Clever Boy
David Cameron, and his advisors, have been very clever today!
Mr Cameron has complied with nearly everything that Labour leader Ed Miliband has asked of them.
This leaves Labour no where to go, if it all goes (excuse the expression) 'tits up', then Ed Miliband will look like a fool.
Mr Cameron today came back fighting fit at Prime Ministers Questions. Ed Miliband went back to repeating the same question like a parrot who only knows one saying. Cameron seemed unphased (at last) by the Labour benches trying to punch below the line.
Another thing that has struck me about this case is, why didn't Labour put a stop to these hackings, especially Gordon Brown, years ago? And what conversations did Tony Blair and Gordon Brown have with Mr Murdoch and Rebekah Brook?
Time to come back into the lime light it seems!

Today in Prime Ministers Questions, Ed Miliband and David Cameron should set aside their differences. They have both come to an agreement where Rupert Murdoch's BSkyB take over, should indefinitely be held back, at best dropped altogether.
I for one am pleased the Prime Minister has agreed to this. Before he was looking weak, whipped and slightly reminded me of when George Bush had Tony Blair on a leash!
Thankfully though, Mr Cameron has a bit more pride than that! And so, it seems, does Mr Miliband.
Now if you have read my blogs before, you will know I am not Mr Miliband's biggest fan, nor will I ever be, but, he does seem to have found a voice at last. It was embarrassing, when he hardly put up a defence against the government. Even Gordon Brown had more presence at the Commons.
But since the scandles have come to public eyesight Mr Miliband has stepped up to the plate to get rid of the atrocity of Rupert Murdoch's scandulous hackings, of Rebekah Brooks. How that woman still has her job is beyond me and the majority of the country.
I think this should be a lesson to all young wanna-be politicians out there, do not get too close with the press, as they are untrustworthy, unforgiving, and they remember a hell of lot!

Speech
Well, that was a dismal speech from Mr Miliband.
It lacked power, force and umph! He could have taken Murdoch, Cameron, Coulson, and Brooks down all in one go, but no, instead he just babbles, thinking it's what the public want to hear.
Well being part of the public I was dissapointed, I was actually hoping he would do well on this speech, but he didn't.
There was one part I agreed with however, where he mentioned his own party isn't out of the picture, and I am glad he said that, and has pointed that out. 13 years they were in office, and could have easily got rid of Coulson, Murdoch and Brooks. But Labour, back then, were brown nosing to Murdoch in every way possible.
Lets hope Mr Cameron's speech is slightly more assertive.

NotW
Mr Murdoch and Miss Rebekah Brooks, both need to be sacked and got rid of.
I am not left wing, and I certainly don't read The Mirror, or the Gardian, neither have I read News Of The World.
Firstly I think NotW is a rather boring paper, but now after the revelations that journalists from Notw, have hacked dead soldiers, and murder victims, I am completely appalled by it.
Mr Murdoch, and Rebekah Brooks are disgusting people to let have happened. But another question I have is why did the journalists who have done the hacking, do it?
Why didn't they stand up for morals, and common decency, and just refuse to do it? I would rather lose my job, and write for a left wing paper than bring myself that low!
Another thing I have noticed is, the Conservatives, Labour and the Liberal Democrates, are all burying their head in the sand.
Mr Miliband is just about keeping his head above the water line, Mr Cameron has already drowned, and Mr Clegg is being very clever by saying nothing. What does Murdoch have over them?

Oops!
Mr Miliband just seems to be a "spoof", if it is possible, of Frank Spencer from "Some Mother's Do Have 'em".
I feel for him, everything he does and says is wrong. First he is nicknamed "Red Ed", more like "Yellow Ed" nowadays.

I can't see this going down well with his extreme left's of the party. It's like the man's trying to dig his own grave, and in my view, he is doing a stupendous job of it.
Not only that is had emerged at the weekend that he and Ed Balls were plotting against Tony Blair. Seems the two Ed's will be gone quicker than either thought!
Ed Miliband needs to get some back bone, some policies, and some support quickly, or the Labour Party supporters will shift elsewhere or oust him, in a very public manner!
I feel for him, everything he does and says is wrong. First he is nicknamed "Red Ed", more like "Yellow Ed" nowadays.

'Project Volvo'
If I were Ed Balls, I wouldn't be a happy chappy. So he has been ousted as one of the main culprits behind getting rid of Blair, and now denying he had anything to do with it.
Well of course he is denying it! Although all the evidence is pointing to him, and we all already knew this anyway.
Now some people are saying Ed Balls is the man the Tories fear the most! I think it's Labour or whoever is the leader fear him most!
But is seems Ed Miliband has made the same fatal mistake that Blair did. We all know Miliband and Balls are not the closest of friends, and after seeing what happened between Blair and Brown, you would have thought he might have learnt a lesson! Well no, he hasn't. Just like Blair did with Brown, Miliband has made Balls his second in command, maybe he is referring to the saying 'keep your friends close, but your enemies closer', sadly (for them) it's not working over in the red corner!

35 hour week
I have been hearing a lot of talk about 35 hour working weeks.
Now as a lazy person, I am all for it! But if I was an employer of a small company, I would dread to think the government or any other part would back this idea.
Small companies would lose out completely! Not only would they have to keep trying to get jobs done in shorter times, (which is unfair on the employed), they would have to keep the same wages for everyone (which is unfair on the employer).
More people would need to be employed (on the same wage as everyone else doing the same job), which means the company would need more projects/jobs, but there are only so many projects/jobs for each company out there!
It is not economically good for the country! Every country needs small businesses. Small businesses which are allowed to expand and grow, and keep people employed to a good standard! Otherwise the cost of living becomes harder and harder.
Some of the left are saying this is workers rights, but how is this fair, especially in this economic crisis that our country is in?

Archbishop
It seems the Archbishop has come out saying Labour can't be blamed for the debt that Labour created!
Now there's two things wrong with the Archbishop commenting on the political field at all:
1. He is meant to be non-partisain
2. He has just contadicted himself
Why one earth would he comment on what's going in the political field? Also why is he siding with Labour?
The current Labour Leader doesn't believe in God, nor does Nick Clegg but then again who cares about Nick Clegg? David Cameron is the only major political leader who does believe in God, also yes you can blame Labour for Labour's debt!
I realise in the Bible it says "Turn the other cheek" but it seems the Archbishop is endorsing Labour to do just that about the national debt they have left Britain in! If I was the Archbishop, I would be asking God for forgiveness for opening my mouth.

Sky Dive
On Sunday the 5th of June, I did a Sky Dive at Weston On the Green RAF. I have never been so terrified yet so excited and pumped up and ready to go than on that day.
I did it for charity and have raised £700 in total, the charity being Helen & Douglas House, a hospice for children, also where my friend Claire Johnson died nearly 5 years ago.
As we were up in the plane getting ready to jump, my instructor turned to me and said "You know this is only my second tandent jump!"
"WHAT!" I screamed, then boom, I was falling 12,000 feet!
Would do it all again, and can recommend it to anyone!

Well hello, this is my first blog, hope you like and enjoy my blogs. I will mainly be blogging about politics, especially after todays Prime Ministers Questions. Ed Miliband once again did a poor performance, a man that can stab his brother in the back but can't scare Mr Cameron!
Although Mr Cameron's performance wasn't exactly worthy of a BAFTA.
