Now, quite rightly, this caused a little bit of a stir, to use someone else's dead disabled son in a stupid tweet such as that is vile.
Since then, she's received rather vile tweets herself, such as threats towards her son. For me that is as wrong as her original tweet, and defeating the object of pointing out just how vile she was.
However, what's really got to her is an article in the Daily Mail by Sarah Vine:
"To readers wondering how, as a lesbian, she got pregnant in the first place, her son was the result of a relationship with a man, shortly after which she realised she was attracted to women. Born Melissa, in 2012 she changed her name to Jack."
Have to say, not sure why it's important to point out she's a lesbian with a child, in the 21st Century there are bigger and better things to say, however, this is what's got their goat, not the fact that Jack used the dead disabled child of our current Prime Minister to have a political shot at him....
I thought the left were people of high morals, apparently their high morals only come into play when they feel they're being victimised
