Russell Brand to run a Mayor of London? Nothing Ironic There At All

There are rumors saying comedian Russell Brand will stand for the position of Mayor of London.

A man who's never voted in his life, wants you Londoners to go out of your way and put your trust into him, and his 'alternative'.

A man who isn't against open boarders policy, is against big businesses (despite giving Hollywood a lovely boost in profits), and hasn't really offered an alternative.

Despite him now backtracking since one of his idols, John Lydon (Johnny Rotten), slammed him for telling people not to vote, Brand is hardly a worthy opponent of anyone.

Firstly, what alternative? An alternative political system. And what does that mean? Well even he doesn't know, as when Jeremy Paxman asked him that, all he could say was "Well I haven't invented it yet Jeremy."

So basically, there is no alternative, false hope is alive and well.

But I can see Brand's train of thought; the Mayoral election isn't until 2016, so maybe he'd of come up with alternative by then.... socialism will basically be his answer.

With that in mind, you might as well vote, if the rumors are true, for Eddie Izzard, who would run for Labour.

Russell Brand, the 'revolutionary', who's not only got the left wanting an alternative, but even more dangerously (for him at least), the right are also starting revolt. But that's life, a double edged sword that'll protect you, as well as cut you, so be careful what you wish for, as it might just come true.

The Left Have It All Wrong

Just listened to Russell Brand's "Trews" video where he's basically trying to arselick John Lydon, because he called him a "bum-hole".

But, after his arse-licking, Brand inevitably brings in UKIP, and basically asks what all those on the Left are asking, (which just proves they are not listening to a word to people who have immigration issues):

"Immigrants are the fulcrum of our social problems; was it immigrants that caused the stock market crash in 2007-2008? Is it immigrants who are awarding themselves big bonuses? Is it immigrants that are lobbying across the United States that are privately funding the Conservative Party?"

Now those who are left-wing, such as Mr Brand, please listen, people aren't against immigration because they "caused the stock market crash" or because they "award themselves bonuses".

People are against the AMOUNT of immigrants entering our country every year, and if we're completely honest, people don't like how immigrants are able to claim benefits from the off.

Not so long ago on BBC Three's Free Speech, Owen Jones (my favourite little leftie), said that:

"Only 7% of Britain is built on."

And this information from the Office of National Statistics from August 2014:

"A total of 560,000 immigrants arrived in the UK over the 12-month period to March, while an estimated 316,000 people left."

That's 244,000 more people entering Britain, and with only 7% that's been built on, any wonder why we worry about immigration levels?!

Until the left understand this, and keep voting in leaders such as Ed Miliband, they will continue to lose their voters to UKIP.

But like I've said before, the left never face their problems head on, the sweep them under the carpet hoping that we will forget about it, or that the problem will simply go away. Not this time!

English Vote For English Laws: Labour Playing Deaf and Dumb

Ed Miliband, and the rest of Labour, are playing deaf and dumb to English Votes for English Laws, or as one man said on Twitter (@PaulGoodmanCH) today:

"Hear no EVEL, See no EVEL, Speak no EVEL"

Labour, meant to be the 'peoples' party once again ignoring the millions of voices wanting to be heard.

To be honest, this is nothing new, in fact it's a well known Labour trait. They did it when millions of people took to the streets over ten years ago about the invasion in Iraq, and they're doing it now with EVEL, and the EU.

For a party that tows the line "the peoples party", they really aren't too good at listening to "the people" when they actually want a say.

For example, if Gordon Brown had miraculously won the 2010 general election, would Scotland have been given a referendum? Doubt it, especially as they had 41 seats at stake.

They currently won't even entertain the idea of an In/Out referendum on the EU, and now they're blocking talks on bringing in EVEL, yet promised it to a country where there are plenty of Labour MP's.

In fact, they don't mind Welsh Vote for Welsh Laws, as once again they reign supreme, even in Northern Ireland they are too fussed about giving devolution, but England where the Tories (and now possibly UKIP) reign supreme? No chance.

They're putting party interests before country interests. Ignoring the voices of their own voters, for the voices of their paymasters.

But in doing this, they're forgetting the fundamental rules of the left; fairness, and equality.

To allow devolution for three of the four countries that make up the United Kingdom is noway near fair, nor is it equal.

But Labour and Ed don't care, they will sacrifice the morals on which the party was built, all for the sake of power.

Ed is currently far to busy in researching Eastenders to be worried about the English having equal rights as the rest of the UK!
