#Milibrand Interview

It's no secret, I'm no fan of either Ed Miliband, or Russell Brand.

I find it pathetic that Ed Miliband felt the need to be interviewed by a comedian in order to get to young people. Milibrand interview

If they're following Brand's "Trews News" then they'll have already heard Ed speaking, and would have most likely chosen to not vote, and majority would have missed the opportunity to register to vote.

Now here's my problems with the content of the interview.

Firstly Brand asked quite a few questions which went unanswered, such as about the NHS and the PFI contracts.

Miliband also claimed to have taken on Murdoch:

 

I don't know about you, but I don't call that taking on Murdoch. I do wish Brand had asked him "When you were in government, and the whole hacking scandal happened, why didn't you, as the government, do something about it back then?"

No-one has ever asked this of Miliband, and it seems to be a nice little fact that the left love to bury under the carpet.

When asking Miliband about the PFI contracts, why didn't he ask him "When you were last in government, why didn't you personally stand up and argue against the PFI contracts?"

When Ed was saying about bringing up minimum wage to £8 an hour, why didn't Brand ask, "where are the smaller businesses, who are not corrupt huge corporations, who don't avoid tax, going to get the money from to pay for this?"

When Ed said about getting rid of them non-dom status, why didn't he ask "Well Ed, you were in the last government, why didn't you push for these things back then?"

I honestly found the interview pathetic. I was hoping Brand would be on fire with his questions, and hard hitting points to make.

Instead Miliband dodged, avoided, and evaded, (everything he claims to hate) all the questions that Brand asked, which were weak.

At the end of the video, Brand says we've learnt a lot about Labour. What exactly did we learn? Other than what's already been said?

Brand also said we learnt a lot about Miliband, what did we learn about Miliband? Other than he'd be good at dodge-ball (to be fair to Ed, all politicians are the same). 

I learnt nothing new of the Labour leader, neither did I learn anything new about his policies for Britain.

If Brand wants to point out what he thinks I should have learnt, he is more than welcome too.

Baltimore Riots

Last nights Baltimore riots are different from the ones we had in London 4 years ago.

In America black people are treated unfairly, for instance Eric Harris was shot and killed. He said to police "I'm losing my breath" to which the office replied "fuck your breath".

Then there's the instance of Walter Scott who was pulled over for his back light failing, ended up getting shot to death for no apparent reason. The Officer had made up his story completely.

Eric Garner was strangled to death by a police officer last year, he very little struggle, and even informed them that he couldn't breath yet the officer didn't loosen his choke hold him.

Black people in the USA are unfairly judged by the police. Of course there will be anger, and when anger is built up in such large numbers of course stupid things will happen like looting, arson, and general disarray.

I'm not giving these people an excuse, but in America you are still poorly judged on the colour of your skin.

All of these men were innocent, not one had done anything to make the officers need to use violence.

The anger for black people in America is quite rightly just.

Something needs to change, they were hoping Barack Obama would be that change, how sad for them that nothing has changed, one their own has let them down.

Of course looting, arson and violence isn't the answer, we know that from the 2011 riots, but you try telling that to thousands of angry young people, who feel justice is out of reach.

America's only hope is of sorting their police officers out.

Achievements The Tories Have Made

Believe it or not, but the Tories have done some good things during their time leading a coalition government, some of these things have been at their own expense.

1. More jobs - in fact nearly 2 million jobs have been made
2. Lowering taxes 
3. Raising personal allowance
4. Gay marriage (definitely at the cost of some voters, but worth it)
5. Extraditing Abu Qatada (Labour would have kept him)
6. Keeping Gary McKinnon (Labour would have extradited him
7. Cut corporation tax (which is good for small to medium companies)
8. Scottish Independence referendum (Labour would not offer it, just like the EU referendum)
9. Crime is down
10. Cut the red tape that was surrounding many of our industries
11. Capped benefits
12. Faster Broadband
13. Benefit claimants are down
14. Fuel duty has not been raised

So before you start bad mouthing off what this government hasn't achieved just have a look at what they have achieved

The Mediterranean Migrants

Someone said last night "Teresa May has blood on her hands" for not helping the migrants trying to escape their country, Syria.

Teresa May has no blood on her hands, the people who have blood on their hands are ISIS, Assad, and those who are overcrowding these unsafe boats with people who will obviously risk their lives to escape what's ISIS, and Assad are putting the Syrian people through.

Imagine making money out of people's suffering, and death, which is exactly what these smugglers are doing.

Imagine having to chose from risking loosing your life to ISIS, or the Assad regime, and the risk of drowning in the Mediterranean?

Imagine putting your life, and that of your child's, at risk to flee the disturbing and disgusting behavior of your own government, and so called people.

I'm not going to lie, I can't imagine what its like to be in that position, I don't know what I'd chose, but I certainly wouldn't be blaming some Home Secretary in Britain, I'd be blaming the people who should be standing up for my country, not killing us.

Today in The Independent I saw this harrowing picture of a dead child being lift out of the boat.

If he stayed in Syria, he'd have most likely died, he died trying to escape the horrors of ISIS and Assad.

ISIS, and Assad need to be stopped in order to stop more tragedies like this from happening, prevention is far better than cure.

If Capitalism Is So Wrong, Why Do You Use It?

If Capitalism is so bad, why do so many, who shout their anger from the many stages they've presided on, use it?

Russell Brand for instance, is a fine specimen of a capitalist.

He's had two number 1 selling books, sell out stand up comedy tours, and even had his own chat show.

If it's so bad, why are you using it for your own personal gain?

Same with Vivienne Westwood, one of the most sort after fashion designers, quite happily excepts the money off of the rich, yet claims to be an anti-capitalist.

Or Owen Jones, the Guardian columnist, who quite happily will take the money from his two sell out books, and interviews he does on the BBC.

There's also Billy Bragg, left musician who quite happily accepts working class people's money for his records.

Len McCluskey, on a six figured salary, all thanks to us, the working class. Surely as someone who strongly believes in socialism, wouldn't it be better if the salary was lessened, and more money was put back into the union in order to help your members? No?

They'll all scream "I'm allowed to make a living." Indeed, and by all means do. But a profit?! You've all claimed you hate big businesses making profits, yet will quite happily help them make profits when your own personal interests are involved.

Please do claim to be one thing, then do another. Not only is it hypocritical, and contradicting, it's getting boring now.

Just like businesses, you've all made your money through us, the people, the working classes. (Except Vivienne, who quite happily accepts big businesses money when they're buying her product.)

If you don't like profits, make a nice donation to the HMRC and help us all out, or stop moaning, you're embarrassing yourselves as well as others.

Housing Crisis? Give Us A Third Runway

We have a housing crisis, why?

Well Labour decided to send search parties for extra immigrants, and obviously thought that they didn't need to live in houses and would live in the streets.

A third runway at Heathrow, and a second runway at Gatwick will help.

Firstly a third runway will create hundreds of thousands of jobs, extra housing.

As someone who works for a small company at Heathrow, I can also dispel the myth that the North won't be effected, as 20% of companies we deal with are based in the North, and Scotland.

Then we should upgrade our Northern airports in Liverpool, Manchester, and Newcastle.

HS2 is a dead duck, so is Boris Island. Our only chance is to update and upgrade our airports.

The Stanch of Hypocrisy From The Left Is Nauseating

The hypocrisy from the left is painful, extremely painful.

Today on a Facebook page, it pointed out that Margaret Thatcher’s old election coach was up for sale, the comments I read were disgusting.

“Use it for any form of socialism, then I would attached it to her body to generate electricity.” Over a hundred likes, and dozens of people agreeing.

Now imagine someone saying something like that against Tony Benn? Can you imagine the anger, and outrage that would come from the left?

The left seem that they have one rule for them, and another for the rest of us, it’s OK to say something personally nasty if you’re leftwing because you believe in equality, but god forbid you do it on any other side.

Another one of their hypocritical moments is when The Daily Mail printed a page saying that Ed Miliband’s father hated Britain.

Quite rightly Ed came out fighting in his father’s defence, and to be fair so did David Cameron, and the left as a whole were absolutely fuming.

But when left-wing feminist Jack Monroe said “Because he uses stories about his dead son as misty-eyed rhetoric to legitimise selling our NHS to his friends.” And when the right showed their anger at this, she somehow made herself the victim!

Could she see that her tweet was wrong in anyway? No. Has she apologised for using a dead disabled child, who she never met, or had anything to do with? No.

Could the left see the difference between using a man who was politically motivated, versus using a dead child who had no political beliefs, and was severely disabled? No.

It’s the same when Russell Brand says he wants us to become greener, yet drives one of the most uneconomical cars in existence.

Or when Tony Benn spent his whole life preaching against tax evasion, then used a loophole so that his children didn’t have to pay tax on the £5 million inheritance he’d left them.

Or how about yesterday’s “non-dom” abolishment, or are they reforming it? No-one knows.

Are the right hypocritical? Yes, of course they are, we’re all human, the difference is, we don’t put ourselves on some moral high ground, we don’t claim that we can make everyone happy, we know that equality, as lovely as it sounds is impossible to reach.

There will always be inequality, why? Because you can’t please everyone. Socialism won’t magical please everyone, and won’t magically get rid of inequality.

Look at the many different ways socialism had brought about more inequality like in Cuba, living under a dictatorship, or Venezuela where it can cost around $755 to get a pack of condoms.

Or when Lenin, and Stalin ruled Russia. Creating larger famines than ever known before, causing people to turn to cannibalism.

Or perhaps when North Korea’s current dictatorship leads a luxurious life, whilst his people live in squalor.

Or in Hong Kong, where they were given a leader by the Chinese, and refuse to let the people have a voice, and decide themselves who they want to have as their leader. (Just a quick reminder, the current leader of Hong Kong told his people to be "more like sheep" is that the type of equality they're after?!)

Or even here, in 21^st Century Britain, where the so called “peoples party” won’t give us a say on whether we want to stay in the EU or not (polls suggest we want to stay, so why are they running scared?)

Then there’s Ed Miliband, spent five years trying to distance himself from the terror that was New Labour, but accepts with great delight Tony Blair’s backing, and money. Is New Labour dead? Not under Ed it ain’t.

Labour, and the left in general, reek of hypocrisy, and the smell is only getting worse.

Ed & Tony

Tony Blair has said he backs Ed Miliband 100%.

For many in the Labour camp, that is the kiss of death, which it shouldn't be as the man won three consecutive elections.

But seeming as most of the Labour party, and majority of the electorate despise Blair because of his deceit during his premiership, it is.

Unlike Thatcher, Blair is hated by his own party, whereas Thatcher is loved by the Conservatives.

So, why does Blair back Miliband 100%? Because he won't give you or I a voice, Blair doesn't care, and apparently nor does Ed, how reassuring....

Many polls show how majority of people would vote to STAY, not leave, in the EU, so why are they running scared?

This should also be a warning sign to any left of Blair Labour supporters, Ed doesn't want you to have your say, nor does he want anyone else, just like Blair.

Remember when around 2 million people marched against the invasion of Iraq? The one Blair ignored, because his head so far up Bush's arse?

So, if Blair hadn't flashed the cash, would Ed Miliband be as warm to him as he is being? Seeming as I remember Ed Miliband trying to distance himself from Blair and the horrors of New Labour just a few days ago at the 7 way leadership debates.
